Getting around the area

Villa Granada Garden enjoys a privileged location in the quiet Monachil neighbourhood: the perfect starting point for exploring Granada and combining nature, culture and leisure. Nearby you will find hiking routes such as Los Cahorros, the Sierra Nevada ski resort and Granada’s beaches, as well as the Alhambra, Generalife, Albaicín, historic centre and famous tapas bars.

The Nevada shopping centre, one of Granada’s largest, as well as hospitals and other services, are also just a few minutes away.

You can get around the neighbourhood on foot or by car. The villa has ample parking space beside the entrance and a nearby bus stop for travelling into the city. However, we recommend having your own vehicle to explore every corner of Granada more freely during your stay.

1. Check-in – Key collection

Check-in is from 12:00 pm (please ask about flexible arrival times). Arrival is by self check-in, although we can also welcome you at check-in for a more personal arrival if our schedule allows. Collect the keys from the lockbox inside the mailbox. The code will be sent by WhatsApp to the booking holder on the day of check-in. After collecting the keys, close the lockbox and scramble the number combination. To open the main entrance door to the house, insert the key in the position that lets it slide fully into the lock; pull the knob towards you while turning the key.

2. Heating and air conditioning

All rooms have air conditioning and heat pumps. The radiators in the common areas provide additional heating for the house.

3. Villa equipment

For the dishwasher to work properly, rinse off food thoroughly before loading dishes. Do not put paper or wipes down the toilet, to avoid blockages. The sheets and towels for the sofa bed in the first-floor living room are in the ottoman beside that sofa; those for the sofas in the ground-floor living room are in the chest beside the pool table.

4. Noise, events and maximum occupancy

The villa is in a quiet residential area. Loud noise in the garden is not permitted after 11:30 pm; any event producing disruptive noise must continue inside the house, where there are no noise restrictions. Bookings for parties that may get out of hand or celebrations that breach the rules are not accepted. Noise incidents and complaints may be checked against the decibel monitors installed in the garden, reported to the authorities and lead to legally appropriate measures. Access is restricted to registered guests. Maximum occupancy: 12 people.

5. Damage to the villa. Pets

Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the house; they are permitted only in the garden and outdoor areas. Cats are not permitted. Other pets require prior authorisation and a security deposit to cover any damage caused by the pet. Pet waste must be picked up and any mess caused by the pet must be cleaned. We recommend taking pets to the garden area on the street beside the villa to relieve themselves. Please take care of the facilities, furniture, decorations, bed linen and kitchenware; proven damage caused by misuse may be claimed from the booking holder as the person with secondary liability for the guest group, with the corresponding invoice provided. Villa Granada Garden records the condition of the villa's facilities and contents on video before each stay so that any incidents discovered at the end of the stay can be checked.

6. Check-out and waste disposal

Check-out is at 11:00 am. Late check-out until 4:00 pm may be requested, subject to availability and payment of an additional booking charge. Check that all appliances, heating and air conditioning have been switched off before leaving the villa. It is important to check that you leave ALL the keys on the kitchen table on the first floor; never return them to the lockbox in the mailbox. Before check-out, put all rubbish in the bin on the street beside the villa.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Enquiry subject to approval

Sending an enquiry does not confirm a stay or automatically block the dates. The host will check availability and conditions.

2. Confirmation and deposit

Booking confirmation requires the host's approval and payment of a 30% deposit by Bizum or bank transfer. The balance is payable on the day of check-in when entering the villa.

3. Free cancellation and deposit refund

If you cancel 30 or more calendar days before your arrival date, the booking deposit will be refunded within a maximum of 24 hours after the cancellation is accepted.

If cancellation occurs less than 30 calendar days before arrival, the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

The Villa

About this space

Villa Granada Garden is a private villa in Granada (Monachil) for families with children and groups of up to 12 guests. It has a garden, a private pool with a waterslide for children and adults, a barbecue and a private garden kiosk-bar.

It is approximately 10 minutes from the Alhambra and Nevada Shopping Centre, and approximately 5 minutes from Sierra Nevada Park, ideal for hiking and cycling. The ski resort is approximately 35 minutes away and the beach is approximately 40 minutes away.

The space

The house offers amenities, quality facilities and automated systems to enhance your stay, such as the Alexa smart speaker. High-speed Wi-Fi reaches every room, including the gardens and pool area.

Bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens

The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests and has 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms that convert into bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 2 separate toilets, as well as 2 kitchens. The bedrooms have televisions, individual heating and air conditioning, pillows of varying firmness, sheets, blankets and bath towels.

The two living rooms, each measuring 60 m², have fireplaces. The sitting areas have a 52-inch television with a soundbar, a games console and a pool table, for gathering together or enjoying a game.

Breakfast can be enjoyed at the kitchen island on the upper floor. The ground-floor kitchen, overlooking the garden beside the porch, is ideal for preparing lunch or dinner. The kitchens are equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, blender, juicer, coffee machine, iron, kettle and kitchenware. There is a laundry room with washing machines and a tumble dryer for longer stays.

Garden and outdoor area

The Granada garden has fruit trees, palm trees and pines over 20 metres tall. The private pool, approximately 10 × 5 m, has a waterslide for children and adults, a sun terrace and loungers, and is available from March to October. Beside the built-in barbecue, the private garden kiosk-bar has a bottle cooler for drinks, high seats and bar stools, and three counters for snacks; no staffed bar service is provided.

The outdoor dining area includes a 30 m² pergola with a dining table and a chill-out area for enjoying the garden and private pool with waterslide. The 50 m² porch provides another place to spend time with family or friends. Private family celebrations, such as birthdays, anniversaries and gatherings, must respect the maximum capacity of 12 guests and the villa’s house rules.

Children's recreation area

The children's recreation area covers approximately 300 m². Children and adults can enjoy football, giant chess, a giant playhouse and table tennis.

Other things to note

Guests will receive information about activities, sightseeing, excursions and must-see places during their stay in Granada.

Where necessary, explanatory videos will be sent showing how to use appliances, open the sofa bed, light the fireplace and more.

It is very important to stop making noise in the garden from 11:30 pm. The interior of the house is soundproofed. The house rules do not allow parties in the garden after that time. According to the information provided, outdoor noise at night may result in guests being removed immediately by Airbnb.

The house has an alarm system that will be deactivated a few minutes before arrival and reactivated when guests leave. You must therefore inform the host of both your arrival and departure.

The villa is in a quiet, exclusive area, and both the inside and outside of the house are fantastic. It is also close to Los Llanos, a lovely hiking area with a fantastic view.

A family of 12, seven adults and five children, stayed for 10 days. The property was perfect for all ages and had everything we needed and more.

The pool and outdoor area are stunning, and the kitchens are well equipped. Everything was spotless and Carlos was very kind and helpful.

If you like going out, I suggest hiring a car. We did not, but managed with Uber. A trip to Aldi or Lidl cost €6 each way, and an Uber to Granada costs around €20 each way.

We all had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend it!

Our stay was wonderful. The day before our arrival, the host sent us all the information we might need for arriving.

The house was sparkling clean, very tidy and had all the utensils you might need and more. You really feel at home. They also provide coffee, herbal teas, oil, salt, toilet paper and cleaning products, among other things, so you do not have to buy them.

The house has a large downstairs living room designed for a large group to gather. The outdoor area is also beautiful: the garden, pool, barbecue area and children's play area. Very complete accommodation just a approximately 15-minute drive from Granada, in a beautiful, peaceful location.

The service was excellent and our stay was very pleasant.
